He develops his professional activity as a self-employed person or as an employee in rescue teams, lifeguard teams, aquatic intervention units, both in the public sphere, non-governmental organizations, foundations, associations, as well as in private entities, whether large, medium or small companies that offer sports, lifeguard and active tourism services. Its activity is carried out in port services companies, in town councils, federations, sports, recreational and leisure clubs and associations, tourism companies, hotels, camping, spas, camps, infrastructure maintenance and/or sports management companies, under the supervision of a technical superior and collaborating with other technicians. Their professional activity is subject to regulation by the competent Administration. In the development of professional activity, the principles of universal accessibility are applied in accordance with current legislation.

What it prepares you for

This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Module MF0011_1 Navigation Guard and Vessel Steering, certifying that you have passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will be eligible to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
