Objectives

- Describe the most relevant functions, laws and rules of electricity, applicable to electrical systems of railway rolling stock - Explain the functionality of the basic electrical/electronic elements and/or assemblies, related to different systems of railway rolling stock. - Carry out basic electrical circuit assemblies, using the required electrical/electronic elements on the panel, checking the electrical magnitudes with the measuring devices used in the maintenance of railway rolling stock. - Analyze the diagnostic and maintenance procedures of the ASFA and dead man systems. - Know the diagnostic and maintenance guidelines for ATP, LZB and ERTMS systems. - Study the particularities of diagnosis and maintenance of train-ground communication and information control systems. - Identify the diagnostic and maintenance processes of analog and digital signal emission and reception systems of railway rolling stock. - Analyze the comfort systems of railway rolling vehicles, as well as the sets and elements that constitute them, to describe their constitution and correct functioning. - Identify breakdowns in the comfort systems of railway rolling vehicles using appropriate equipment, means and diagnostic techniques. - Skillfully operate with the means, equipment, tools and specific equipment to maintain the comfort systems of railway rolling vehicles. - Maintain the air conditioning system and resolve breakdowns. -Analyze the prevention and security measures regarding the actions of handling facilities and equipment, contained in the security plans of companies in the sector. -Act in accordance with the safety plan using the company's prevention and safety measures. -Apply the company's environmental protection and waste recycling measures.
