Objectives

- Indicate the main characteristics of the civil protection and emergency system at the national level. - Recognize the structure, as well as the organic and hierarchical relationships, of the organizations involved in the national emergency and civil protection systems in Spain. - Differentiate the legal responsibilities of the operators, when making decisions of the emergency coordination center. - Identify the different elements of the management systems in the coordination centers and the associated technologies (management systems). - Check the correct functioning of the equipment and applications to be used in the coordination center workplace. - Analyze information from technical and specialized data bases, as well as technological communications systems, inferring relevant aspects for ongoing operations.
