To carry out the activities related to baking and pastries adequately, it is of utmost importance to conduct and carry out the operations of manufacturing bakery and pastries products, achieving the established production and quality objectives, respecting at all times the current technical-sanitary, environmental and occupational safety and hygiene regulations. Therefore, this course seeks to provide the necessary knowledge to prepare and/or conduct the packaging and presentation of bakery and pastry products.

Career opportunities

The qualified professional in "Bakery-pastries" will act in the Production Department although in constant relationship with the quality and logistics departments, where applicable, of semi-industrial or industrial bakery and pastry companies, of a public or private nature. Likewise, this professional may carry out his or her work in hotels, restaurants and small artisan workshops, as a self-employed worker (owner, partner of the company or hired).

What it prepares you for

This training conforms to the training itinerary of the Training Unit UF0295 Packaging and Presentation of Bakery and Pastry Products, certifying having passed the different Competence Units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will opt to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Communities. Autonomous, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
