In the agricultural field, it is necessary to know the different fields of basic horse training within the professional area of livestock farming. Thus, this course aims to provide the necessary knowledge for the foals to come into contact with the means of rope work.

- List the spaces necessary for rope work, citing the main characteristics of each of them. - Identify the equipment used for roping colts, differentiating the particularities of each of them. - Explain and, in a practical case, carry out the tasks of familiarizing the foals with the work spaces and equipment.
He develops his professional activity in private companies, both self-employed and employed, or public, of any size, related to the breeding, training, taming, riding and exhibition of horses.
This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Unit UF1410 Getting the colts into contact with the means of rope work, certifying that they have passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which they will opt to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Communities. Autonomous, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
