In the field of building and civil works, it is necessary to know the different fields of inclined roofs, within the masonry and finishing area. Thus, this course aims to provide the necessary knowledge to build the roof with tile and slate.

- Identify the different solutions for boards and pitched roof coverings using tiles and slates, defining the different design possibilities associated with the materials, and describing the materials to be used. - Describe the development of the execution work of the roof with tiles and slates, specifying the treatment of singular points. - Install the auxiliary and collective protection means - typical of its competence - common in working on inclined roofs, and review those already installed, complying with the specific health and safety conditions.
He carries out his activity in the production area, as a self-employed or salaried worker, in small, medium and large private companies, under the direction and supervision of a manager and, where appropriate, organizing the work of his team of operators. Collaborates in the prevention of risks in its area of responsibility, being able to perform the basic function of preventing occupational risks.
This training conforms to the training itinerary of the Training Unit UF2331 Preparation of Roof Pits with Tiles and Slates, belonging to the Training Module MF1910_2 Tile and Slate Roofs, Passenger Cars and Vans, and Service Provision, certifying having passed the different Competence Units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Skills acquired through work experience and training non-formal, via which you will opt to obtain the corresponding Professional Certificate, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
