Basic obedience is a part of dog training and consists of a series of simple exercises that the dog must learn and perform correctly. Basic obedience is part of the animal's education and will help it to correctly integrate into the social environment, in addition to improving coexistence with the dog. This course will provide the student with the basic knowledge and skills to carry out basic training in driving and avoiding obstacles with or without the use of a leash, applying the corresponding safety criteria and respecting the regulations on animal welfare and protection.

He carries out his professional activity both on his own and as an employee, in the field of small, medium and large private companies, residences, adoption centers for abandoned animals, veterinary clinics, private homes, as well as in public administrations and/or entities, related to the breeding, training, sale, care and sporting and recreational activities of dogs. Its activity, in general, is carried out autonomously, although it may depend, circumstantially, on a hierarchical superior.

This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Unit UF2736 Basic training in driving and obstacle avoidance with and/or without the use of a leash, certifying having passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will be eligible to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
