Objectives

- Identify and apply the legal specifications related to facilities, processes and procedures for the manipulation and processing of ingredients and premixes and vitamin-mining and pre-en-medicines. - Apply the most appropriate grinding technology based on raw materials and the process to which it will be subject to obtain animal feed products. - Characterize and analyze the process of dosing raw materials (cereals, oilseeds, fats, by -products and others) and ingredients for the elaboration of dry foods and feed for animals, guaranteeing the values established in the production plan. - Carry out the basic mixing operations of ingredients and raw materials used in obtaining animal feed products. - Characterize transformation and texturing treatments in obtaining the dry product for animal feed. - Perform the storage and wrapped processes and analyze the consequences that the choice of silos, equipment and containers have for the final product. - Identify the final conditioning measures that guarantee the correct commercial presentation and the preservation of the physical-chemical and organoleptic properties of the final product. - Apply safety, quality, environment and hygiene standards that guarantee the protection of people, animals, goods and products. - Identify sampling techniques for the verification of the quality of raw materials and dry food and feed, drugs medication and vitamin-mining for animal feed.

It develops its activity in establishments of small family type size, medium -sized establishments with a cooperative nature, oriented to local self -consumption, large cooperatives, large national and international companies where a wide range of products and brands is manufactured to animal feed. In general, they are of others who exercise their activity individually or as a team, under the orders of a higher level technician and in some cases, in small family businesses as self -employed. They develop their activity in the functional areas of: reception, equipment preparation, conditioning of raw materials, dosage, mixing, transformation, conditioning and issuance of the final product.
