The results of research related to the function of various genes have led us to better understand the nature of certain hereditary diseases that can seriously compromise human health. Taking this into account, experimental treatments of gene promising therapy are being developed. Through the clinical genetics and muscle dystrophies you will learn what are the functions of clinical genetics, its application in terms of the detection and treatment of muscle dystrophies. Similarly, you will provide information regarding the current state of research and advances in gene therapy that can be an efficient solution to treat this type of disease.

This course of clinical genetics and muscle dystrophies is mainly aimed at biosanitary professionals (biologists, biocheologists, biochemists, biomedical, doctors, pharmacists, etc.) who wish to acquire knowledge related to clinical genetics, and the use of molecular techniques for the diagnosis of muscle dystrophy.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
