Control the operation of the lime kiln and the slurry workshop of the plant to obtain the carbon dioxide and lime slurry, necessary for purification. Develop pulp pressing and drying processes to obtain pulp with the indicated dry matter index with minimal fuel consumption. Describe the process of pressing dry pulp to obtain pulp in granules (pellets), which will be stored with the smallest possible volume. Properly control the boilers to obtain steam with minimum fuel consumption. Apply the water purification technique in a sugar industry, verifying that it is carried out in accordance with the requirements. Analyze the activity of the sewage sludge, the production of methane, as well as the characteristics of the treated water, checking the agreement with the established values.
It develops its activity in small, medium or large industries with very diverse organizational-technological levels. This technician is part of a work team with other people of the same or lower level of qualification, where he develops individual and group tasks, organically depending on a middle manager. In certain cases of small industries, non-specialized workers may be under their responsibility and may report directly to the person responsible for production.
This training conforms to the training itinerary of the Training Module MF0300_2 Auxiliary Sugar Processing Operations, certifying that you have passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will be eligible to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Communities. Autonomous, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
