Objectives

- Maintain facilities, furniture and equipment in adequate hygiene and safety conditions, in order to avoid health risks. - Develop protection measures for the professional and the client to avoid contagion in the provision of the service. - Select the most appropriate aesthetic service, observing the anatomophysiological characteristics of the client to serve them according to their demands and needs. - Establish selection criteria for the tools, products, cosmetics and devices necessary to perform manicure, pedicure, artificial nails and aesthetic care techniques for hands and feet. - Carry out aesthetic treatment protocols for hands and feet adapted to the client's characteristics. - Apply first aid techniques in the event of possible emergency situations during manicures, pedicures or aesthetic treatments of hands and feet and artificial nails. - Assess the quality of the final result of aesthetic care of hands and feet, informing and advising the client on the measures necessary to optimally maintain the results obtained.

It carries out its activity in large, medium and small beauty and/or hairdressing companies, whether self-employed or employed, in beauty centers, SPAs, distributors and shops specialized in hand and foot treatment products, beauty cabins in hotels and gyms, parapharmacies, herbalists, senior centers or nursing homes.

What it prepares you for

This training conforms to the training itinerary of the Training Module MF0356_2 Safety and Health in Aesthetic Care of Hands and Feet, certifying having passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will opt to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Communities. Autonomous, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
