Objectives

- Carry out verification, inspection and review operations of gas receiving facilities following regulatory requirements, under established quality and safety conditions. - Operate with the equipment and means necessary to check the tightness of a gas receiving installation, complying with the regulatory requirements and application standards under the established quality and safety conditions. - Carry out commissioning operations for gas installations in compliance with regulatory requirements and application standards under established quality and safety conditions. - Complete orders and work reports, certificates and reports related to the inspection, review and commissioning of gas receiving facilities in accordance with current regulations.

Career opportunities

He carries out his professional activity as a self-employed person or as an employee, in companies of any size, mainly private, dedicated to the supply and distribution of gas, as well as the assembly, operation and maintenance of gas installations and appliances, depending functionally, where appropriate, on a superior and may be in charge of lower-level personnel. Their professional activity is subject to regulation by the competent Administration, the qualification meeting the requirements established in current legislation to obtain the category B professional gas installer card.
