- Establish methods for food administration, as well as dietary control of the dog. - Apply conditioning techniques to accommodation areas and means of transport appropriate to the well-being of the dogs, according to current regulations on the matter. - Apply hygienic care to the dog acting with health and aesthetic criteria. - Apply health care techniques to dogs according to predefined instructions. - Apply physical and sensory stimulation techniques to the dog through exercises adapted to the characteristics of the breed, taking into account animal well-being, according to current regulations on the matter. - Organize the necessary documentation in the monitoring and control of a dog to comply with the regulations and/or follow the instructions carried out with it.
He carries out his professional activity both on his own and as an employee, in the field of small, medium and large private companies, residences, adoption centers for abandoned animals, veterinary clinics, private homes, as well as in public administrations and/or entities, related to the breeding, training, sale, care and sporting and recreational activities of dogs. Its activity, in general, is carried out autonomously, although it may depend, circumstantially, on a hierarchical superior.
This training conforms to the training itinerary of the Training Module MF1743_2 Hygienic care applied to dogs, certifying having passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will be eligible to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
