Monitor/Educator of People with Disabilities Course (Double Degree with 5 ECTS Credits)

- Participate in the design of socio-cultural activities, activity promotion campaigns, work coordination and supervision of the activities carried out. - Acquire all the knowledge, procedures and attitudes to work as a sociocultural monitor-animator. - Identify the criteria for delimiting the support that people with disabilities require in leisure and free time spaces, assessing its intensity and characteristics based on the target groups. - Develop interventions for the integration of people with disabilities in leisure and free time spaces, recognizing the functions of each member of the interdisciplinary team, understanding this as the backbone of the entire intervention. - Apply analysis and search criteria for leisure and free time resources in the community environment, taking into account their characteristics based on the needs of people with disabilities. - Analyze and organize training of skills and strategies for the effective use of leisure and free time resources by the person with disabilities. - Establish a way to promote healthy emotional-sexual behaviors in leisure and free time spaces, contributing to the full personal and social development of people with disabilities. - Establish training programs in basic cognitive strategies and technological literacy based on the consideration of the needs of the recipients, recognizing and explaining how to do it in an interdisciplinary team.
