The practice of physical exercise during pregnancy and postpartum has a series of recently demonstrated advantages. In this sense, recovery physical activity at this stage of life helps to recover both physical and mental fitness to restore the new vital rhythm, as well as to stabilize weight, correct posture, reduce discomfort and promote digestion and sleep, among others. Likewise, postpartum and sport constitute a good team for both the physical and psychological recovery of women after giving birth. It is also important to mention and include in this course the benefits provided by the practice of physical-sports activity, as well as good practice in the postpartum period.
