The general objective of this Course is to provide students with specific knowledge about the Start-up Phase of a Project and about some of the most fundamental Management and Control Systems for the Management of a Project. In particular, the student will know the essence, the particularities and the basic concepts that will allow them to understand the complexity of each of the areas under study, within the context of Project Management and Control, obtaining the following skills: Know how the Start-up of a Project is developed, identification of phases, characteristics and most important considerations. Identify the types, channels and participants of Communication in a Project, necessary to base the Communications Management System. Know the structures, flows, useful techniques and skills recommended for the successful development of the organization and management of Purchases and Subcontracts in a Project. Obtain knowledge about the layout and functions of the HR area, management and development of Work Teams and identify the most common types of Leadership. Establish the knowledge framework necessary to understand the organization, applicable standards and action regarding the disciplines of Quality, Safety and Environment (HSE), during the execution of a project.
