In today's society there is a growing interest in maintaining a good quality of life, which entails optimizing health prevention strategies. Despite this, the chronic diseases that plague industrialized countries are expected to continue increasing their morbidity and mortality rates in the coming years. In this context, the diversification of the health branch is essential, where the dietitian-nutritionist is becoming an essential figure within the interdisciplinary team of health professionals. For this reason, the Wine, Gastronomy and Nutrition Specialist Course + University Specialization in Dietetics and Nutrition allows the student to learn the biochemical, physiological, bromatological and anatomical bases necessary to address a safe and effective nutritional intervention. On the other hand, oenology is the science responsible for the study of the methods and techniques of vineyard cultivation, production of wines, musts and other vine derivatives, as well as the subsequent analysis of the manufactured products and their storage, management and conservation. Through this oenology course, the aim is to offer students the necessary knowledge to specialize in this field.
