Objectives

- Supervise the installation and specific materials, to ensure the correct condition according to current regulations. - Use personal material and equipment to prevent occupational risks. - Transmit and enforce the facility's rules to the user, to guarantee coexistence and safety, applying effective communication techniques. - Carry out preventive training that allows maintaining the optimal physical and technical conditions of the lifeguard. - Monitor the designated area systematically, to anticipate the accident or emergency situation, acting accordingly. - Analyze the conditions of the situation, to decide the intervention to be carried out in accordance with the established emergency plans. - Carry out the implementation, approach, control and towing of the victim according to the situation of the environment, the injured party and oneself. - Extract the injured party based on the estimation of its characteristics and the present environmental conditions. - Acquire psychological knowledge applied to lifeguarding.

With the Aquatic Lifeguard and Update Course for Lifeguards, it prepares you to know in depth the lifeguard environment, as well as the essential characteristics of the lifeguard to carry out this work professionally, acquiring a series of techniques and knowledge that will help you perform this function successfully.

This lifeguard course is aimed at those people who want to work as aquatic lifeguards in all types of aquatic facilities or those who wish to know the general principles of rescue and lifeguarding, both to use it in their professional and personal environment. Learn to identify risks and prevent accidents, as well as exercise in the appropriate techniques and tools for rescue, rescue and first aid.

Double Qualification: - Higher Course Qualification in Aquatic Lifesaving with 200 hours issued by EDUSPORT - University Qualification in First Aid with 5 ECTS University Credits. Course counted as merits for competitive examinations for access to the public teaching function in all CCs. AA., according to R.D. 276/2007 of February 23 (BOE 2/3/2007). This is carried out within the permanent training plan for teachers of the Antonio de Nebrija University.
