- Identify and carry out the care carried out on replacement animals to obtain their adaptation to the farm and their suitability as reproducers. - Distinguish the marking and/or identification systems for breeding and bait animals according to the species and apply the management procedures necessary to carry them out. - Describe the methods of obtaining, transporting, storing and preserving the production (animals for sale, products or by-products) of the livestock farm and carrying out, at all times, the basic operations that apply. - Detail the auxiliary operations of the processes of conservation of raw materials, preparation and distribution of food rations (volumetric and concentrated) and carry them out applying the established techniques and the means available to the livestock farm.
He develops his professional activity as an employee, in the production area or department of large, medium and small livestock farms, public or private.
This training conforms to the training itinerary of the Training Unit UF0158 Carrying out Auxiliary Activities in the Care, Transport and Handling of Animals, certifying having passed the different Competence Units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will be eligible to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
