Objectives

- Distinguish the different design possibilities of building enclosures, recognizing their layers and typical configurations. - Interpret the conditions for placing thermal insulation in building envelopes. - Interpret the execution conditions of the formation of slopes and placement of the complementary and auxiliary layers of the flat roof waterproofing system, relating the different materials to their function and location within the system. - Interpret the conditions for placing the sheets that constitute the waterproof membrane of flat roofs in buildings. - Apply organization and supervision techniques in the execution of flat roofs. - Interpret the execution conditions of the skirts, boards and coverages on inclined roofs. - Apply organization and supervision techniques in the execution of inclined roofs. - Interpret the execution conditions of the exterior leaves of the facades with factory solutions -ceramic, concrete, glass-, exposed face or to cover, relating the different materials with their function and location within the system. - Interpret the execution conditions of the exterior leaves of the facades with industrialized solutions - ventilated facades, curtain walls, panel facades, heavy prefabricated facades -, relating the different materials with their function and location within the system. - Apply organization and supervision techniques in the execution of facades.

Career opportunities

He carries out his activity in the area of execution, as a salaried worker in small, medium and large private companies, under the direction and supervision of a production manager and/or a construction manager, or a manager - when integrated into the organizational chart as a foreman. Organizes and supervises its own workers and those of different subcontractors. Collaborates in risk prevention within its scope of responsibility, being able to perform the basic function of occupational risk prevention.

What it prepares you for

This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Module MF2147_3 Works of land conditioning, foundations and building structure, certifying having passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will opt to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
