Forestry Worker Course

- Carry out the auxiliary work of preparing, measuring and marking trees, applying the appropriate techniques, and explaining the methods followed. - Carry out auxiliary work in timber harvesting using established techniques and describe said work, as well as the characteristics of the products obtained. - Carry out auxiliary work during the treatments of wood by-products applying established techniques and describe said work. - Analyze the state and operation of the machinery, equipment and facilities of a forestry operation and control its use in a practical case. - Identify and describe the regulation and control devices of machinery and equipment. - Apply phytosanitary control methods in plants, soil and facilities, following the established technical specifications, properly handling machinery and tools. - Describe the forest fire prevention tasks and organize and supervise their implementation so that the established objectives are met. - Describe the phases of forest fire prevention work, explaining its objectives and the techniques, procedures and material means used during its execution. - Describe the operations carried out during the maintenance work of forest trails, firebreaks and water points, explaining their objectives and the techniques, procedures and material means used during their execution.
