Objectives
- Analyze the psychological circumstances that can cause behavioral dysfunctions in people. - Identify the psychological conditions of people belonging to risk groups or with special characteristics. - Explain the methods and material means used in health education activities, promoted by the competent institutions, describing their applications depending on the type of program. - Differentiate the situations, factors and disease-producing agents, to apply the corresponding prevention mechanisms. - Explain basic health care methods in different emergency situations.
Career opportunities
It carries out its activity in the public and private spheres of the health sector, at all levels of the National and Regional Health System in pharmaceutical establishments and services, both in the public and private sectors. This professional works mainly in pharmacy offices, hospital pharmacy services and parapharmacy establishments, and in drug distribution warehouses and the pharmaceutical industry. Their professional activity is subject to regulation by the state health administration.
What it prepares you for
This course will provide the student with the necessary knowledge to collaborate in health promotion, protection, disease prevention and health education, under the supervision of the physician. This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the Training Module MF0368_2 Health Promotion and Education, certifying having passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, the route by which it is to opt for obtaining the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
