- Check the mechanical, electrical and safety elements of the vehicle according to the daily inspection sheet. - Check the general documentation of the medical vehicle. - Verify the existence of the material equipment of the medical vehicle. - Verify the existence of beacon, personal self-protection and portable lighting material. - Check the operation of the communications system. - Guarantee the cleaning of the vehicle and disinfection of medical supplies. - Collaborate on the maintenance plan for facilities and equipment. - Carry out quality control appropriate to your activity, collaborating in the programming of the activity of your work unit. - Know legal responsibilities related to the autonomy and freedom of the patient, as well as professional secrecy and data protection law. - Carry out the initial assessment of the patient, looking for signs of severity according to established protocols. - Apply basic ventilatory support techniques according to established protocol. - Apply basic circulatory support techniques according to established protocol. - Provide basic initial care in other emergency situations according to established protocol. - Support the doctor and/or nursing staff in assisting health emergency situations. - In the event of an emergency situation on public roads, create a safe environment for health actions. - Guarantee safe access to the patient. - Evacuate the patient from the scene to the ambulance.

This training conforms to the training itinerary of the Professional Certificate SANT0208 Health Transport, certifying having passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, a route through which you will opt to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
