- State the scientific-technical bases that support biochemical analysis, relating the type of instrument to the properties it measures and the parameters that are analyzed. - Select the appropriate method and technique according to the analysis request and after carrying out a documentary consultation. - Prepare the expected reagents, samples and equipment, relating the latter and the techniques used in carrying out instrumental chemical analysis, with the parameters of the substance analyzed. - Perform biochemical analyzes for quantitative determinations, complying with the principles of good laboratory practices. - Evaluate the validity of the results obtained in the analyses, interpreting the records and reporting the results.
In the field of research, either in research centers or in companies related to pharmaceutical, cosmetic, chemical, biotechnology, agri-food and clinical biochemistry. In quality management and control, production, product development, projects, in biotechnology companies (pharmaceutical, agri-food, environmental) and in the biohealth sector (clinical analysis, molecular diagnosis, development and monitoring of new therapies). Complement to teaching in the areas of secondary education, technical schools, university schools and universities. Complement to the documentation, information and dissemination of biochemistry and its advances in communication offices, companies, scientific foundations, press, television.
This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Unit UF0112 Biochemical Analysis Techniques, certifying having passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, a route through which you will opt to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Health itself. Labor (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
