- Explain the techniques of climbing and moving on trees and, in a practical case and/or scenario, climbing a tree, specifying the risks. - Describe the stages of the process of climbing a tree, expressing the technical difficulty and risks associated with each one. - Recognize defects and signs of deterioration of the material and equipment used to climb and move on trees. - Explain the making of knots used in work at height, specifying objectives and particularities of each one. - Explain the most common occupational risk situations during climbing and the preventive measures to adopt to avoid them. - Explain the most common occupational risk situations during the use of baskets, platforms or cranes and the preventive measures to adopt to avoid them.

He carries out his work in public and/or private companies, both self-employed and employed, whose activity is related to the inventory, evaluation, planting, maintenance, conservation and security, emergency and prevention work related to ornamental trees and palms.

This training conforms to the training itinerary of Training Unit UF0271: Climbing techniques and equipment. certifying having passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, via which you will opt to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
