- Characterize and maintain the equipment and tools necessary for oil extraction. - Identify seed oil extraction operations from both pressing and solvent extraction, taking into account the established production and quality criteria. - Classify and describe the obtaining of oils from other fatty materials (vegetable and animal), according to the prescriptions established in the procedure manuals. - Verify that both the process and the oils obtained meet the pre-established quality criteria. - Apply the necessary prevention and protection measures to guarantee personal safety and hygiene during the oil extraction and refining process. - Characterize the operations to obtain protein flours and cakes in the oil extraction processes, as prescribed in the procedure and manufacturing manuals. - Check that the protein cakes and flours obtained in the oil extraction processes meet the pre-established quality criteria. - Apply the necessary prevention and protection measures to guarantee personal safety and hygiene, during the process of obtaining flour and cakes, obtained in the corresponding phases of oil extraction.
Companies in the food industry extracting, obtaining and packaging seed oils and obtaining edible fats. They are employed or self-employed workers who carry out their activity with technical autonomy in the functional areas of reception, extraction, production and packaging.
This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Module MF0553_2 Extraction of seed oils, certifying that you have passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will opt to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as your own. Ministry of Labor (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
