- Analyze the pastry sector and define the positioning of the establishment, interpreting the variables that configure it and explaining the current situation and the trends that are detected. - Analyze the information, advice and sales processes, and apply the appropriate customer service and communication procedures and techniques to them, as a basic element for achieving business objectives. - Develop promotional actions applicable to establishments for the production and sale of pastry products, applying marketing techniques.
He develops his professional activity in both large, medium and small companies in the hospitality sector, being able to act in small establishments, on many occasions, as owner and head of pastry shop simultaneously. They usually carry out their professional activity in private establishments, although they can also carry out their work in public establishments, mainly when they are located in the educational, health or social services sector. When not acting on his own account, he performs his duties under the supervision of the director of the establishment, whether it is a bakery, a restaurant, a hotel or another type of accommodation.
This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Unit UF1744 Marketing of Pastry Offers, certifying having passed the different Competence Units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will opt to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry itself. of Labor (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
