MF1993-3 COURSE MAINTENANCE OF SPORTS AND RECREO BOARDS

In the field of transport and maintenance of vehicles, it is necessary to know the different fields of the organization and supervision of the maintenance of the systems and equipment of sports and recreational boats, within the nautical professional area. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to manage the maintenance of sports and recreation vessels.

- Analyze current regulations on occupational safety and health regarding the maintenance sector of sports and recreation vessels to define the plans, equipment and means to be used. - Enter the regulations regarding the environmental management of the waste generated in the maintenance operations of sports and recreational boats. - Describe customer service and information techniques at the reception and delivery of sports and recreation vessels, the different typologies of them, their characteristics and the procedures to be used for conflict resolution. - Define the actions to be carried out at the reception and delivery of sports and recreation vessels, maintaining satisfactory commercial relations with customers, making appraisals and making budgets, following established procedures. - Establish criteria for the distribution of the maintenance work of sports and recreation vessels based on loads, availability of human resources, technical means and workshop capacity, determining tasks of completion of tasks. - Determine the times required to carry out certain maintenance operations of sports and recreation vessels, guaranteeing that required quality and safety. - Establish criteria for the management of the area or spare parts warehouse in the maintenance workshop of sports vessels and recreation, organizing its physical distribution, determining minimum and order points, and controlling the stocks. - Communicate in English using standardized maritime terminology (international maritime organization) expressed fluently, in situations related to its professional field, even in environmental noise conditions, interference, distortions due to poor communication, and under emergency pressure.

It develops its professional activity both on their own and on behalf of others, in small and medium -sized companies, of both public and private nature, dedicated to the construction and maintenance of sports and recreation vessels, being able to include those others of restricted length dedicated to other services or functions, as well as in companies related to the maintenance and repair of motor vehicles, depending, in their case, functional and hierarchically of a superior lower level.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the MF1993_3 Training Module Mainten that they publish the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of vehicle transport and maintenance, it is necessary to know the different fields of the organization and supervision of the maintenance of the systems and equipment of sports and recreation vessels, within the nautical professional area, and to all those people interested in acquiring knowledge necessary to manage the maintenance of sports and recreation vessels.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
