- Maintain facilities, furniture and equipment in adequate hygiene and safety conditions, in order to avoid health risks. - Develop protection measures for the professional and the client to avoid contagion in the provision of the service. - Carry out aesthetic treatment protocols for hands and feet adapted to the client's characteristics. - Apply first aid techniques in the event of possible emergency situations during manicures, pedicures or aesthetic treatments of hands and feet and artificial nails. - Select the most appropriate care and beautification technique by observing the characteristics of the client's hands and/or feet, and taking into account the client's demands. - Prepare the necessary material for the application of manicure and pedicure techniques, under adequate safety and hygiene conditions. - Remove makeup from nails in safe and hygienic conditions. - Modify the shape of the nails, cut and file them, in safe and hygienic conditions. - Improve the aesthetic appearance of hands and feet, applying techniques for the aesthetic care of the cuticle and skin in safe and hygienic conditions. - Perform nail care, polishing or makeup techniques to improve its aesthetic shape, harmonizing it with the client's lip makeup, facial blush and clothing. - Apply different styles of makeup to fingernails and toenails such as half-moons, peaks, French, or fantasy, in safe and hygienic conditions, to improve the aesthetic appearance of hands and nails. - Prepare the cosmetic products and devices necessary to perform artificial nail techniques. - Accommodate the client and observe the characteristics of the nails to select the most suitable techniques for each case. - Choose and prepare the artificial tips depending on the technique in order to improve or lengthen the nail plate. - Apply artificial nails using plastic “tips” as a support to increase the length of the natural nail. - Select the techniques that should be used based on the client's demands and the condition of the hands or feet. - Apply electroaesthetic techniques to hands and feet, skillfully handling different equipment and respecting safety regulations. - Relax and improve the appearance of the skin by applying hand and foot massage techniques and respecting the anatomo-physiological characteristics of these areas.
