Objectives

- Draw the plans of the mold or model, starting from the overall plans, taking into account the manufacturing process and respecting the Occupational Risk Prevention and Environmental regulations. - Draw automation plans for pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical circuits. - Prepare the technical dossier of the mold (instructions for use and maintenance, assembly and manufacturing drawings, diagrams, list of spare parts...) and specific technical reports that are required, related to the feasibility of the design, manufacturing needs and, where appropriate, commissioning. - Keep the technical documentation necessary for the development of the mold or model updated and organized.

Career opportunities

It carries out its activity in the specific area of applied industrial design in the sector of casting, injection or forging molds or models. Works autonomously in small-sized companies and on simple projects, in medium- or large-sized companies, reports to higher levels and works from preliminary projects. This qualification is located in the electromechanical subsector and can carry out work in foundry, injection and forging companies. Metal casting. Casting in other materials. Forging, stamping and drawing, powder metallurgy. Construction of machinery and mechanical equipment.
