Objectives

- Explain the different manufacturing processes of custom fashion footwear based on the technical, aesthetic, comfort and quality conditions. - Differentiate the manufacturing processes of footwear and orthopedic elements based on health requirements and therapeutic objectives, in order to guarantee their comfort, aesthetics and quality according to the medical prescription and instructions of the technical manager. - Set up the basic machines and tools used in cutting, sewing, fitting, assembling and finishing custom-made fashion and orthopedic footwear for their correct functioning, performing first-level maintenance. - Apply preparation and cutting techniques for leather and textile materials, necessary for the manufacture of custom and orthopedic footwear, with safety criteria. - Apply assembly or sewing techniques of custom fashion and orthopedic footwear components by gluing, hand and machine sewing with quality and safety. - Apply assembly techniques for different types of custom fashion and orthopedic footwear according to model and pattern with the quality provided in the technical sheet - Apply finishing techniques for different types of custom footwear, as well as orthopedic, according to model, therapeutic purposes and medical prescription with the quality agreed for presentation and delivery. - Explain the preventive measures that can be facilitated in the manufacturing processes of custom and orthopedic footwear to avoid postural risks, due to repetitive movements or lighting problems.

This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Module MF1504_2 Techniques for Manufacturing Customized and Orthopedic Footwear, certifying that you have passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will be eligible to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
