Objectives

- Identify the maintenance operations of forestry machines, equipment and facilities for their optimal functioning and schedule their execution based on the production plan. - Identify the requirements of a workshop to cover the basic maintenance and repair needs of the machinery and facilities of a forestry operation and in a practical case organize the workshop. - Relate the operations of preparation, maintenance, repair and fine-tuning of forestry machinery, equipment and facilities and, where practical, carry out their control. - Specify the human resources necessary in the preparation, maintenance, repair and fine-tuning of forestry facilities, machinery and equipment to guarantee adequate performance, and coordinate them based on the established objectives and activities.

He develops his professional activity in large, medium and small companies, public or private, both employed and self-employed, dedicated to afforestation and reforestation, hydrological-forest correction, carrying out silvicultural treatments and protecting and defending forest masses.
