- Apply the pre-established preventive maintenance plan and, where appropriate, predictive, for the refrigeration facilities, determining the procedures, human and logistical resources to achieve the required maintainability. - Apply preventive and predictive maintenance techniques, which do not involve the replacement of damaged elements, selecting the procedures and with the required safety. - Supervise the maintenance work of the team of technicians under your orders. - Improve the energy and environmental efficiency of refrigeration facilities.

Career opportunities

This technician joins public or private companies dedicated to the assembly and/or maintenance of refrigeration installations. The qualification is located in the areas of assembly, definition and maintenance planning of refrigeration installations, responding to the possible requirements contemplated in the regulations for obtaining the corresponding professional licenses.

What it prepares you for

This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Unit UF1132 Carrying out and Supervision of Preventive Maintenance of Refrigeration Facilities, certifying having passed the different Competence Units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will be eligible to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
