- Know the functions, procedures, techniques and instruments of judicial expertise. - Know the different types of Expertise that we can find. - Interpret the mediation system and its importance in the involvement of those affected. - Differentiate between the types of expert reports. - Know the process of preparing expert reports. - Analyze judicial evidence, from its concept to the practice of said evidence. - Analyze how to evaluate the expert evidence. - Analyze the technical information contained in basic engineering and naval architecture plans to obtain data that allow the development of constructive solutions and the preparation of construction and assembly plans, applying established calculation procedures, complying with quality standards and prevention of occupational and environmental risks. - Prepare exploded and detailed drawings of construction elements of structures, providing the information that allows their manufacturing, using 2D design and modeling computer applications, complying with quality standards and prevention of occupational and environmental risks. - Determine the materials necessary for the manufacture, assembly and repair of naval structures according to the construction plans, specification of the materials, complying with quality standards, and prevention of occupational and environmental risks. - Prepare cutting documentation and programming of automatic CNC and robot machines, for the layout and cutting of sheets, profiles and tubes, based on the materials defined in the assembly, construction or repair plans, complying with quality standards and prevention of occupational and environmental risks. - Know the different types of existing engines and identify their components. - Know the command and control instruments. - Learn to diagnose and locate faults in nautical engines. - Carry out maintenance and repair of the command and control instruments, the propeller and buttress, the engine ignition and power supply system and the inverter-reduction system. - Carry out the prevention and treatment of corrosion in nautical engines. - Learn to carry out the maintenance and conservation tasks typical of the wintering process. - Know the safety and hygiene measures at work to take into account as a nautical engine mechanic.

What it prepares you for

This course prepares you to obtain the necessary knowledge to intervene as Experts in the Courts and Tribunals of Justice, especially in the criminal field, it also provides you with the necessary knowledge to carry out an appropriate accident investigation. Article 335.1 of the LEC (Law 1/2000, of January 7, on Civil Procedure) refers to this figure and establishes that: “When scientific, artistic, technical or practical knowledge is necessary to assess relevant facts or circumstances in the matter or acquire certainty about them, the parties could contribute to the process the opinion of experts who possess the corresponding knowledge…” With this Judicial Expert Course you will be able to practice before demands from Individuals and Companies, Administration and Justice. At the end of the course, the student will obtain a Diploma that will allow him or her to register as a Professional Associate in ASPEJURE and be able to practice in the Courts and Tribunals. It is a course suitable for access to the Court Lists.

This course is aimed at naval engineers and/or university graduates or anyone who wishes to obtain the necessary knowledge to intervene as an expert in courts of Justice, especially in the criminal and civil spheres. However, as established by the Civil Procedure Law in its Article 340.1: Experts must have the official title that corresponds to the subject matter of the opinion and its nature. If these are subjects that are not included in official professional titles, they must be appointed from people knowledgeable in those subjects.
