- Know the factors that intervene in road accidents. - Distinguish and know the Active Security and Passive Security systems. - Implement road safety on the road, at construction sites and in tunnels. - Learn the operation and effectiveness of Euro NCAP. - Carry out the conservation and rehabilitation of roads. - Know the basic Legislation on Road Safety. - Know and apply the initial action procedure in the event of a traffic accident. - Carry out an initial assessment of the wounded, the approach to the wounded and the ABCs. - Acquire the necessary knowledge for basic action in case of accidents and describe basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation and hemorrhage control. - Analyze injuries and traumas caused by traffic accidents. - Describe safety and injury prevention devices. - Explain the mobilization and transportation of injured people. - Know the influence of medication, alcohol and drug consumption on driving. - Apply post-accident treatment, as well as the operating and care procedures of the emergency service in the initial health care of the injured. - Generate layouts of highways and urban roads by operating specific computer applications, making adjustments to the starting data to obtain the indicated variations and obtaining the necessary results to carry out measurements.
