The consumer society in which we find ourselves immersed means continuous exposure to various risks for our adolescents. Drugs, as one of the stigmas of 21st century society, continually stalk a population that does not have the necessary tools to adequately manage their responses to the stimuli of the world around them. Pressure from the peer group, as well as problems at home with the family, can be triggering factors for the development of a substance use disorder that leads to even greater problems, whether or not they are psychological in nature. It is necessary, therefore, to provide these minors with the appropriate weapons to confront a reality that deceives and traps them with disastrous consequences. Coping with drug consumption is a difficult task that requires the development of skills that must be trained, both in the family environment and in the school environment, both agents of primary socialization of minors. Prevention takes on special importance, as the main tool, followed by intervention if the first is not effective.
