Objectives

- Identify the design of the construction systems of false ceilings made of laminated gypsum board –PYL– and other materials, relating the materials and structures to be used with their fields of application, and describing the construction details at singular points. - Describe the work to execute simple installations of false ceilings, specifying methods and work sequence. - Determine layouts of simple false ceiling installations to be subsequently executed by the same worker or different installers, analyzing the necessary technical documentation - plans and specifications contained in projects or manufacturers' recommendations -, identifying the materials and structures to be assembled and the associated installations - water, electricity and others. - Describe the conditions for fixing the different elements that make up false ceilings in PYL and other materials, specifying the types of anchors and screws to be used and their position. - Apply installation techniques for continuous false ceilings in PYL of normal dimensions – not large spans –, complying with the specific quality and health and safety conditions. - Apply installation techniques for recordable false ceilings, complying with the established quality and health and safety conditions.

He carries out his activity in the production area, as a self-employed or salaried worker in small, medium and large private companies under the direction and supervision of a manager, and, where appropriate, organizing the work of his team of operators.
