- Analyze the origin, characteristics and response mechanisms of the immune system. - Analyze nucleic acid extraction and amplification techniques (PCR and variants) and their multiple applications. - Describe autoimmunity and the techniques commonly used for its study. - Analyze the phenomenon of hypersensitivity and the laboratory techniques used in allergy studies. - Describe the methodology used in the study of lymphocyte subpopulations and in the functional characterization of relevant cells of the immune system. - Analyze the application of the various antigen-antibody techniques in microbiological and hematological diagnosis. - Describe the process that guarantees the quality of the parameters analyzed in the various immunological techniques. - Learn the concepts related to infertility and the different studies related to it. - Know the aspects related to the life cycle of the cell, as well as its mechanisms. - Discover the fundamentals of inheritance at the chromosomal level and its main disorders. - Address in depth the morphology and alterations of the erythrocyte system, as well as the different cytothymic techniques. - Study the different serological techniques in the clinical laboratory. - Differentiate the types of biological samples, as well as the handling methods for subsequent analysis. - Appreciate the characteristics of cells in the Immune System, as well as the causes of autoimmunity and diseases. - Deepen the study of Flow Cytometry, as well as its applications in the clinical laboratory. - Improve interventions in the prevention of infections by intestinal parasites. - Make known the main developments and clinical advances in parasitic infections that may occur in specialized care, especially among the immigrant population.
