- Analyze the phases of the basic repair processes for footwear of different models. - Place pieces of footwear (caps, linings, lifts, insoles, heel pads, etc.) performing the appropriate operations according to the characteristics of the materials and their use. - Perform basic repair, sewing and replacement operations depending on the model to be repaired. - Apply footwear preparation and widening techniques, adapting them to the client's needs. - Carry out finishing operations in the repair of footwear to give it the characteristics and final presentation appearance. - Set up machines and tools, according to cutting, assembly, assembly or finishing techniques and material requirements for shoe repair. - Replace pieces of footwear, marking and cutting them, according to the characteristics of the materials and their use. - Carry out preparation and assembly operations, for the repair of footwear by hand and/or machine, of the parts that must be replaced and accessories depending on the model, applying safety criteria. - Complete the technical information of the repair by sewing and replacement of parts carried out.
