Objectives

- Analyze purchasing and supply programs, according to a properly characterized logistics plan. - Evaluate the stock management systems for raw materials, auxiliaries and semi- and processed food products according to the logistics plan. - Analyze the storage, internal distribution and handling processes of the various supplies of the food industry, in accordance with the established operating procedure. - Characterize models of reception, expedition and transportation plans, applicable in the food industry, based on established guides. - Apply appropriate techniques in the negotiation of sales conditions and in the selection and evaluation of clients/suppliers, in accordance with the approval procedure. - Analyze the different sales modalities in the food industry and commerce and their importance, according to the market plan. - Obtain information about products, distributors and markets in the food sector, making a first interpretation and assessment of them based on the contractual conditions and instructions established by the company. - Characterize the advertising, promotion and animation actions of the point of sale and the objectives they seek, according to the policy and strategy of the food company.

Career opportunities

It carries out its activity in industries of derivatives and processing of fishing and aquaculture, small, medium and large companies, as well as in factory ships and auctions. He joins a work team with other people of the same or lower level of qualification, where he performs tasks of supervision and control of the work of the operators of his production unit. It is an intermediate manager who organizes and directs the work of a group of people under his charge and who depends on a higher-level technical manager from whom he receives instructions and to whom he reports.

What it prepares you for

This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Module MF0556_3 Warehouse management and marketing in the food industry, certifying that you have passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at accrediting the professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will be eligible to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
