In the field of safety and the environment, it is necessary to know the different fields within the professional area of safety and prevention. Thus, this course aims to provide the necessary knowledge to perform first aid work applied to dogs.

- Apply initial first aid assessment techniques to dogs, determining the priority of action, determining and using the materials contained in a first aid kit. - Apply basic life support techniques to restore the dog's ventilation and blood circulation, taking into account animal well-being, according to current regulations on the matter. - Apply treatment techniques against heat stroke, bites, insect stings, poisoning and digestive emergencies. - Apply techniques and procedures to deal with seizures and injuries, restoring the dog's health.
He carries out his professional activity both on his own and as an employee, in the field of small, medium and large private companies, residences, adoption centers for abandoned animals, veterinary clinics, private homes, as well as in public administrations and/or entities, related to the breeding, training, sale, care and sporting and recreational activities of dogs. Its activity, in general, is carried out autonomously, although it may depend, circumstantially, on a hierarchical superior.
This training conforms to the training itinerary of the Training Module MF1744_2 First Aid Applied to Dogs, certifying that you have passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will be eligible to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself.
