This university master's degree in cybersecurity offers students a study program aimed at developing, among others, the following professional skills: - Analyze the organization's implementation plans to identify the system elements involved and the security levels to implement. - Analyze and implement physical and logical access mechanisms to servers according to security specifications. - Evaluate the function and need of each service running on the server according to security specifications. - Install, configure and manage a server firewall with the necessary features according to security specifications. - Analyze the system processes in order to ensure adequate performance to the parameters specified in the exploitation plan. - Apply administration procedures to storage devices to offer the user a complete, secure and available information recording system. - Manage access to the system and resources to verify their appropriate and safe use. - Evaluate the use and performance of communications services to keep them within specified parameters. - Analyze and select audit and vulnerability detection tools for the computer system, implementing those that comply with computer security specifications. - Apply procedures related to compliance with current legal regulations. - Plan and apply security measures to guarantee the integrity of the computer system and the entry and exit points of the departmental network. - Plan and implement intrusion detection systems according to security standards. - Apply information analysis and attack containment procedures in the event of a detected incident. - Analyze the extent of the damage and determine the recovery processes in the event of a detected incident. - Classify the communications elements that make up a local network, to identify the components that make up the physical map. - Apply the installation and configuration procedures of the local network nodes, as well as protocol managers and other programs that support communications services. - Establish the configuration of the parameters of the communications protocols in the network nodes, for their integration into the network itself, following given procedures. - Apply the testing and verification procedures of network connectivity elements and the tools for these processes. - Attend to incidents of the communications elements of the local network, and proceed to solve them following given specifications.
