MF0372_3: Microbiological analysis and parasitological identifications in human biological samples

Microbiology is defined as the branch of biology that is responsible for the study of microscopic organisms. These organisms are called microorganisms, germs, pathogens or microbes. The microbiology laboratory receives medical indications and takes and receives biological samples to carry out direct microscopic exams and crops, with the aim of identifying the causal agents of infections.

- Describe the different groups of microorganisms likely to be recovered from human biological samples. - Explain the techniques of isolation, identification and counting of microorganisms, used in the microbiology laboratory. - Analyze cell culture techniques used in the diagnosis of viral diseases. - Analyze the serological methods used in the diagnosis and monitoring of infectious diseases. - Analyze the techniques of extraction and amplification of nucleic acids (PCR) used in the diagnosis of infectious diseases. - Analyze the automation process and the use of large automatic analysis equipment in the Serology Laboratory.

It develops its professional activity in the health sector, in organizations and institutions of the public sphere and in private companies, in the area of the clinical analysis laboratory, in diagnosis, treatment, management, and research. It acts as a dependent worker, being able to be the body or institution of small, medium or large size. Its professional activity is subject to regulation by the state health administration.

This course will be aimed at knowing that it is the microbiology and the types of analysis that can be performed in the microbiology laboratory for the identification of microorganisms in human biological samples.

This course will be aimed at professionals in the field of microbiology and other health professionals, as well as all those who are interested in expanding their knowledge about the microbiology laboratories and the microorganisms that are analyzed there.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
