One of the great challenges for societies today is to enable intervention strategies that contribute to active aging in order to prevent dependency situations that may be caused by physical or biological factors but that, in general, have to do with psycho-affective issues of these individuals. Furthermore, with this course the student will learn the necessary knowledge to carry out both entertainment activities and physical activity exercises with the elderly sector with the aim of guaranteeing their well-being and improving their quality of life. Social and educational institutions must not forget their socializing function and their objective of achieving the integral development of the person. This is why sociocultural animation is emerging as a methodology to promote motivation and personal enrichment. This course offers the student training in the management of cultural, leisure and free time activity programs and in the dynamization of groups and conflict resolution. The Spanish Fitness Federation only accredits content related to physical activity; any mention of technical-tactical aspects is outside its powers and accreditation.

This Course Monitor – Sociocultural Animator is Accredited by the ANTONIO DE NEBRIJA UNIVERSITY with 5 European University Credits (ECTS), being baremable in the job market and competition-competition of the Public Administration (Course approved for oppositions of the Ministry of Education, section 2.5, Royal Decree 276/2007).
