- Relate the characteristics of the different types of oils and fats with the corresponding raw material, as well as their origin and origin. - Identify the requirements for first-level preparation and maintenance of seed reception and preparation equipment, to carry out cleaning and set-up operations. - Apply the reception, storage, cleaning and preparation techniques of seeds and fatty raw materials, operating the necessary equipment with skill, precision and safety in order to achieve optimal performance and the required quality. - Describe and organize the pretreatment and pressing activities of oilseeds according to the prescriptions established in the procedure manuals. - Check that the seed reception and preparation process is carried out in a way that ensures the final characteristics of the lot. - Carry out the tests (acidity, color, pH) to check the results of the samples taken during the production process. - Apply the necessary protective measures to guarantee safety during the process of receiving and preparing seeds and fatty raw materials.
