Objectives

- Select prophylaxis measures in relation to the system, facility and crop species, assessing the risks of pathology transmission. - Establish a vaccination program based on the crop species and the pathologies susceptible to treatment. - Select prevention treatments other than vaccines depending on the species and cultivation phase. - Relate pathological processes to the most common diseases, taking into account the symptoms. - Assess microbiological and parasitological analyzes considering microscopic and macroscopic identification techniques. - Establish a program for taking samples and applying treatments in the different phases of a hatchery for the health control of crops.

He carries out his activity in the areas of plankton culture, reproduction, larval and post-larvae culture, seeds or fry, as a self-employed or employed worker, in SMEs, large companies, whether public or private in nature, research centers and shellfish harvester associations and aquariums.
