- Explain the operation of the installations and equipment of the machinery for the suspension and movement of scenic elements, both in fixed locations and in assemblies carried out in ephemeral spaces, justifying the choice of devices based on the technical requirements. - Apply specific techniques for handling, assembly and operation of scenic elements based on the analysis of the breakdown, structure and functionality of the constituent parts, following the assembly plan and carrying out the operations safely. - Apply techniques and procedures for handling machinery equipment for the suspension and movement of scenic elements, both in fixed locations and in installations carried out in ephemeral spaces, taking into account the criteria with which they are designed, the functions they perform, the established uses and safety requirements - Maintain attitudes and behaviors, according to the codes of professional conduct in assembly and disassembly processes of live shows. - Apply operating principles and procedures for risk prevention related to the safety of workers in the assembly and disassembly of sets. - Apply specific manipulation techniques in the disassembly of scenic elements based on the analysis of the breakdown, structure and functionality of the constituent parts, following the disassembly plan and carrying out the operations safely. - Apply procedures for corrective and preventive maintenance of materials, equipment and machinery installations, guaranteeing their good condition and safety. - Apply procedures for the storage of scenic elements (decorations, curtains, among others), equipment and consumables, which prevent their deterioration and ensure their availability and using computer tools for their management. - Apply wood carpentry techniques in the construction of scenic similes of stage machinery. - Apply metal carpentry techniques in the construction of accessories and the maintenance, adaptation and repair of scenic elements - Apply synthetic materials techniques in the restoration of the finishes of scenic elements. - Apply painting, aging and texturing techniques in the restoration of the finishes of scenic elements.
He develops his professional activity in large, medium and small companies dedicated to live performances in all types of shows and events, with the presence of a live audience, under the direction of higher level technicians or in collaboration with graduates of the same level. Work, as an employee or as a freelancer, in entertainment venues, touring companies or service companies. In the development of professional activity, the principles of universal accessibility are applied in accordance with current legislation.
This training conforms to the training itinerary of the Training Module MF1713_3 Stage Machinery Processes Applied to Live Performance, certifying having passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will be eligible to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
