What it prepares you for

The Piglet and Fatten Management course prepares you to optimize the feeding and care of pigs in their different stages of growth. You will learn to design appropriate diets for finishing, learn about the morphology and physiology of pigs, and effectively manage post-weaning piglets and finishing animals. In addition, you will become familiar with current regulations at European, national, regional and local levels. This course is complementary training that does not qualify for professional practice. This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Unit UF0166: Management of piglets and fattenings, certifying having passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will opt to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry itself. of Labor (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
