- Develop the skills and attitudes of the helper and the dog, as well as the minimum requirements of the work areas in the defense and surveillance specialty. - Build and project the hunting instinct in its proper measure in order to change to the defense instinct once the transition has been made, respecting safety and protection rules for the helper, guide and dog. - Build and project the defense instinct in order to protect your guide or driver. - Build and project the dog's defensive skills in order to protect its handler or driver with mechanical restraint.
He carries out his professional activity both on his own and as an employee, in the field of small, medium and large private companies, and private homes, as well as in public administrations and/or entities, related to security, defense and surveillance, detection, search, rescue and rescue of victims, search and detection of odorous substances, in support operations for entities associated with security and/or civil protection. Its activity, in general, is carried out autonomously, although it may depend, circumstantially, on a hierarchical superior.
This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Unit UF2737 Training in surveillance and defense with mechanical restraint and presence of the guide, certifying having passed the different Competence Units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will opt to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Communities. Autonomous, as well as the Ministry of Labor (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
