Postgraduate for body makeup and tanatopractor + university degree (8 ECTS credits)

- Know the origin and history of tanatopraxia and tanatoestetica (tanatomaquillaje). - Acquire basic and necessary knowledge about human anatomy and physiology. - Identify the different post-mortem alterations and their treatment. - Study how the entire embalming process is carried out. - Study how the entire mortuary makeup process is carried out (previous maneuvers, cosmetics application, ...). - Acquire basic knowledge in prevention of occupational hazards and biosafety. - Know everything related to funeral management. - Acquire the basic and necessary knowledge about the makeup of corpses. - Training as makeup artist of Cadas - Check the documentation and identity of the body before starting restoration and reconstruction to ensure that both are coincident. - Check the availability of the material resources established in the work procedures for the realization of the reconstruction and restoration of the body. - Restore the area damaged by different injuries following the established work procedures for the subsequent presentation of the body. - Rebuild the damaged area in cases of body anatomical losses, following the established work procedures, to improve the presentation of the body. - Eliminate waste generated in restoration and reconstruction in corpses following the regulations on biological waste elimination to avoid risks of personal and environmental pollution. - Apply communication techniques with families and relatives of a deceased and with a funeral entity to respond to possible information demands. - Apply psychosocial skills to face possible crisis situations generated in a tanatopraxy service. - Apply teamwork skills that facilitate the provision of tanatopraxy service to favor horizontal and vertical communication between the different members of a work team.
